The history of our premises has been a long and a very colourful one. It started in the year 1851 as a Seminaarinmäki granary under the Russian rule. In 1910’s the building was turned into a library, as which it served for almost six decades. This room is our tribute to the building’s long history as a library. The library feel of the room is created with warm brown colours and homely decor. From the two windows of the room you have a view to Seminaarinmäki, University library and the beautiful, old University Campus. In the Library- room there are two robust wooden bunk beds accompanied by a comfy little reading corner and ambient lighting. All the beds have their own reading light and a power socket for charging your devices.
Library is a four-bed shared dorm from which you can book a single bed.
